John lives in Washington Township with his wife, Stephanie, and their four children. A native of Mapleton, Illinois, John and Stephanie chose Tazewell County (just as John's great, great-grandfather did) to start and raise their family. John coaches youth baseball, basketball, and soccer with the Washington Park District, is a member of the Washington Club of Rotary International, and is an appointed member of the East Peoria Fire and Police Commission.
John works in Washington as an attorney with a practice focusing on governmental law, and business/commercial litigation.
His term on the Tazewell County Board ended on November 30, 2018.
